Are you new to the Opensim platform and want to visit Deep Playa?
You have come to the right place. Here is what you will need:
- Opensim requires a free "viewer" app -- client software based on the latest Linden Lab V3 LGPL code. Download a current Opensim-compatible viewer:

- Get a free avatar account at any home grid that supports hypergrid teleport.
Alternate Metaverse: https://alternatemetaverse.com/
Kitely: https://www.kitely.com/
OSGrid: https://www.osgrid.org
There are several others.
- Log into your home grid, using your Viewer software from step 1 and login credentials from step 2.
When you first log in, don’t worry about your avatar’s appearance, you can update it later.
If you have trouble with step 4, you may need to teleport to another location in your grid before proceeding.
Some grids block outbound teleports from their default landing point for new avatars.
- Teleport to Deep Playa:
To visit, paste the following into your viewer's Location Bar and type the return key: hop://rajal.org:9000/Playa/301/254/26
- On your first visit, please be patient as it may take a few minutes for everything to render. Once it has finished rendering it will remain cached in your viewer. Explore and enjoy!

For your first few visits, don't worry about understanding every detail of the Viewer software, just enjoy the festival and have fun. You will learn a little more on each visit.
